We are KAAD

As a scholarship organisation of the Catholic Church in Germany, KAAD supports young professionals from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Eastern Europe through academic (postgraduate) studies and research stays.

Many international students experience racist discrimination in their everyday lives in Germany. Even if racist thinking is usually less openly visible nowadays, this specific form of discrimination is structurally deeply rooted in everyday social and cultural life.
