The KAAD in Eastern Europe

The aim of the KAAD's Eastern Europe program is to continue to support social, scientific and ecclesiastical development in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. This is achieved above all through the training and promotion of qualified specialists and academics who become multipliers in their home countries on the basis of a common set of values.

Especially now, in the face of the war in Ukraine and the smouldering conflict in Armenia, the training and further education of young scientists and researchers, encounters and intercultural exchange are more important than ever. The country focus is primarily on the DAC countries, but without neglecting support in the countries of Central Europe.
