General Assembly
In the General Assembly of KAAD e.V., the leaders of the large Catholic relief organisations work together with representatives of the dioceses and academic pastoral care.
President
The President heads the funding institution, which also acts as a clearing office for the German Bishops' Conference for all matters relating to foreign students and researchers in Germany.
Academic Council (Selection Board)
The KAAD Academic Council, the board which selects new scholarship holders, consists of internationally renowned university professors and two church representatives.
Catholic University Chaplaincies
The Katholische Hochschulgemeinden (KHG) and the Katholische Studierendengemeinden (KSG) are our partners at the university campuses. They offer advice, guidance and an attractive semester programme in a welcoming and international atmosphere.
Liaison Lecturers
At numerous university locations liaison lecturers are active for KAAD. They provide an important service by inviting groups of scholarship holders and mediating in cases of conflict.
