Prevention of Sexualized Violence

The prevention of sexualized violence against minors and vulnerable adults is a central concern for KAAD and its stakeholders. Sexual abuse is a criminal offense. KAAD is committed to doing everything in its power to prevent these crimes.

The KAAD has introduced its 'Institutional Protection Concept for the Prevention of Sexualized Violence against Minors and Vulnerable Adults', which was developed on the basis of the 'Framework Regulation – Prevention of Sexualized Violence against Minors and Vulnerable Adults in the Area of the German Bishops' Conference' and defines comprehensive prevention. KAAD is fully committed to the preamble of this framework, "to offer all children and young people as well as vulnerable adults a safe learning and living environment in the spirit of the Gospel and on the basis of the Christian view of humanity".
