The KAAD has decades of cooperation with Asia in its diversity and in its strong social, economic and political change. Together with our partner committees and alumni associations, we are connected beyond national borders. Our former scholars inspire local Catholic, Christian and interreligious life with their international experiences and strive to contribute to social well-being and a sustainable, peaceful future in this globalized world.

We support scholars from East and Southeast Asia: Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Vietnam.

KAAD Seminar: Climate Justice and Indigenous Knowledge in Asia

Indigenous knowledge regarding how to address the impacts of climate change, as well as the rights and political participation of indigenous communities, were the focus of the regional seminar.

Responsibility and International Exchange – Engagement and Networking in Southeast Asia
