Spiritual Guidance
In addition to the spiritual accompaniment of each of our seminars, there are also two spiritual events of our own: The Spiritual Days in the monastery and the Rome trip. Our spiritual advisors are Prof. Dr. Thomas Eggensperger OP and Prof. Dr. Ulrich Engel OP.
Connected with God: Spiritual Days at Beuron Monastery
From 22 to 26 July 2021, the Spiritual Days took place again in the monastery of Beuron. Ten KAAD scholarship holders from different cities in Germany took part in the activities at the Benedictine Archabbey of Beuron in the scenic Danube Valley.
Rome Trip: Where God Lives
We, 16 scholarship holders of KAAD, together with our priests - Fr. Prof. Dr. Thomas Eggensperger OP and Fr. Prof. Dr. Ulrich Engel OP - have joined forces in real life and also in a WhatsApp group and embarked on a study and pilgrimage to Rome from 13 to 19 September 2021.
Connected with God: Spiritual Days at Herstelle Abbey
From 21 July to 24 July 2022, twelve KAAD scholarship holders from nine countries met in the hospitable Benedictine Abbey of the Holy Cross in Herstelle to reflect on their own life situation under the guidance of P. Prof. Dr Ulrich Engel OP and P. Prof. Dr Thomas Eggensperger OP, as well as to receive a spiritual impulse for everyday life.
