Alumni Conference: “The Architecture of the European Security Area: Ukraine’s Experiences and New Risks”

The war in Ukraine has fundamentally altered the European security order and raised new questions about stability, solidarity, and values. The conference invites KAAD alumni to reflect on Ukraine’s experiences and discuss the future of the European security architecture. The focus is on the security policy, societal, and ethical dimensions of new risks—ranging from hybrid threats to energy and information security. The goal is to jointly develop perspectives for a secure, just, and values-based Europe.
Due to the unjustified war in Ukraine, which unfortunately continues to this day, the conference will take place at the University of Suceava in Romania.
The conference, a project organized by KAAD alumni, is open to various academic disciplines. It serves as a platform for interdisciplinary exchange and international networking.
