This year's seminar of the KAAD Association of Scholars from the Horn of Africa (KASHA) dealt with political and faith-based perspectives on migration in the global "refugee hotspot" of Ethiopia.

On the 7th of June, the "Intercultural Workshop" took place for the KAAD scholarship holders who had just arrived in Germany. For the first time, the workshop was held at the Katharinenkloster monastery in Angermund, where the KAAD scholarship holders also live during their language course.

Since this year, our new scholarship holders who have travelled to Germany and are taking a German language course before starting their studies have been accommodated at the Benedictine convent in Angermund.

The 103rd Katholikentag took place in Erfurt from May 29th to June 2nd, 2024. KAAD was was represented by a group of 45 scholars, employees, management and a stand on the exhibition of this large Catholic Convention.
