Since 13 March 2026, KAAD has officially adopted a new German name: Katholischer Akademischer Austauschdienst.

After four decades, the KAAD has moved its office in Bonn from Hausdorffstraße to new premises on Königstraße.

Who gets access to good education in Latin America – and who is left out? This was the key question at the Latin America seminar, which took place at the Franz Hitze-Haus in Münster from December 8 to 11, 2025.

From November 30 to December 3, 25 current and former KAAD scholars met in Strasbourg to discuss the political and institutional dimensions of multilateral cooperation.

The seminar brought together different perspectives from various countries in the Middle East and opened up a space for exchange, reflection and shared orientation on issues of reconstruction and social renewal.
