Expert Group "Global Health"

The Global Health specialist group is aimed at KAAD grantees, alumni and alumnae from the field of health sciences in the broader sense (medicine, public health, psychology), academics from related fields and researchers who deal with the topic of health from a global perspective.

Under the title "The contribution of global health in building the 'global village of care' (Pope Francis)", the participants of the specialist group discussed the encyclical Laudato Si' as part of the 2023 Annual Academy.

In 2024, the annual specialist group meeting took place in the context of the annual academy on the topic of "Artificial intelligence to support carbohydrate management in type 2 diabetes in photo apps".
